  • What equipment do I need for this strength program?

    For this strength program, one of the workouts is best done in a gym or with some equipment at home, as it involves lifting heavy weights. The other workout can be done at home using just your bodyweight. Additionally, while not essential, a set of slant wedges can be helpful and can be purchased cheaply on Amazon. Detailed equipment lists are provided in the video series and the PDF template.

  • Can I do this program if I am new to strength training?

    Absolutely! This program is designed to be accessible to runners of all fitness levels, including those new to strength training. Each exercise is demonstrated in detail through videos, and modifications and exercise variations are provided to suit different abilities.

  • How often should I do these workouts?

    This is a two-session a week program to compliment your running plan. The gym session, which involves lifting heavier weights, takes about an hour. The other session, which can be done at home with no equipment, takes about half an hour. In the program, I provide guidance on how to best fit these workouts around your running schedule to optimise performance and recovery.

  • Does this program include a running plan?

    No, this program is specifically designed as a strength plan to complement your existing running program. It provides strength training exercises to enhance your running performance and reduce the risk of injury, but assumes you already have a running plan that you are following.
